Infrastructure
Where the product arrives
Haiti does not refine oil. Every gallon sold in the country is imported by sea: access to terminals is therefore the entry point for the entire national supply chain.
The starting point
A country without refining, reliant on the sea
In the absence of national refining capacity, all petroleum products consumed in Haiti arrive by ship. Unloading, bulk storage and transit capacity therefore constitute the country's critical infrastructure.
DNC has chosen to be present there directly. The company holds stakes in two major terminals in the Port-au-Prince area — Tristar Terminal S.A. for petroleum products and Terminal Propane S.A. for LPG — and also leases significant storage capacity at Terminal Varreux S.A.
This combination of holdings and leased capacity gives DNC multiple supply routes and room for maneuver when one of the entry points is disrupted.
-
Stake
Tristar Terminal S.A.
A petroleum storage terminal in the Port-au-Prince area, operated by Tristar Group. The terminal handles the unloading of vessels, bulk storage and the transit of products entering the Haitian market.
-
Stake
Terminal Propane S.A.
An LPG terminal in the Port-au-Prince area, operated by Haiti Propane. It supports the company's liquefied petroleum gas activity, cylinder filling and bulk delivery through the network of micro-centres.
-
Leased capacity
Terminal Varreux S.A.
DNC leases significant storage capacity at Terminal Varreux, Haiti's main maritime fuel terminal. This arrangement adds transit flexibility and a buffer inventory to the company's own facilities.

Why this matters to our customers
For an industrial customer or a fleet, the question is not only the price per litre, but the likelihood of being delivered. DNC's upstream position — terminals, leased capacity, depots — is what makes that promise viable.
We also invest in downstream infrastructure: the regional depots that supply our retail network.
